This page came out more like what I wanted than the previous one, but still there are issues with shadows. One problem with DAZ Sun-sky mode is, you can't have any other lights in the scene... all are ignored but the sun and sky. I probably should have switched this to an HDRI dome, put the sun in the same spot, and then used a photometric fill light. But I had not perfected that technique yet, when I was doing these shots. So I could probably do this page a lot better today than I did it back in fall 2015 originally.

However, that said, I am really happy with how the sequence of shots came out, especially the lower left panel of Abby. That panel is just how I pictured it when I wrote the script.

There is a lesser one coming, but you've already met the main one... :)

Not that I am an expert, but I think the lighting works. probably is harsher than what we perceive in reality. But as a frequently disappointed photographer, I can assure you taking pictures at high noon on a cloudless day is going to get unwanted shadows.

And you've done great with the foreshadowing of the plot. Go Abby!

One of the big problems with the set is that there is only the one yard. I don't have anything to be the adjacent MacMansions... so I put a bunch of tall trees there, but they cast a lot of annoying shadows. I'm going to have to work on the neighboring yards to try and improve that back area.

When doing gardening in the neighbor's backyard, I recommend electric chainsaws. They are quick and quiet.

Yes a little of both going on here. Abby knows what she has to do... deep down.
