AEGIS is back, including the local garrison commander, Angela Dawson. Captain Dawson has really grown on me.

And Aegis knows it is no match for the Night Chantress.

Yeah, I would be alarmed too!

I like how the scene turned out. The action in the past couple of pages really came across great!
Though, I don't envy Abby her experience. Being a superhero sure has its downside...

And invulnerability has its limits...

Yes, even if the body somehow heals again, there are the scars on the heart, mind and soul. It's either masochism, or true bravery to go out and face another clobbering, injury, pain.

I agree, Captain Dawson is hot; I mean, a consummate professional in her line of work. ;)

Aegis should update their armor, however. There are some key vulnerable areas not covered by armor, particularly the groin, inside thigh, solar plexus, and spinal cord from about T2 thru L1. Won't help against wights, I'm sure, so maybe for Christmas...

Yeah, I know; you have to shop with the lowest bidder, especially if you're government funded, right? ;)

More like, I needed an armor that worked equally well on G2 male and female characters and looked modern rather than fantasy or sci-fi. There were not many options.

Plus they don't have their own Odo to outfit them. Superheroes get all the cool gear! :D

That is true. Odo does not design for NATO.
