This is a tough one for Liberty Lass - she can't punch her way to victory this time.

Oh dear. I knew this was going to be one of the tougher fights, but an enemy who's beaten entire teams... Ouch.

Yeah Kludge did not fool around hiring her.

The way the AEGIS classification works for villains (heroes too) is as follows:

Class 5 - Agent-level villains. Hothead and company fall into this group.

Class 4 - Weak villains. Have some useful powers but not very versatile. Homewrecker and Cape-Hoarder go here.

Class 3 - Average supervillains. LL hasn't actually fought one of these yet. Equal to a 250 pt Champions character.

Class 2 - Powerful villains. Very strong villains that take either a very powerful hero or a small team to defeat. LL is Class 2. As is Mountain Man. As are the Shield of Dawn members.

Class 1 - Mega-villains. Take a full team of Class 1 heroes or several Class 2 heroes to defeat. The Nightchantress is here.

Class 0 - Cosmic threat. Planet-destroying monsters, would take multiple hero teams to defeat. Think Darkseid or Galactus.

One reason the Shield of Dawn is considered so powerful is that all 4 members are Class 2 heroes. They're the best of the best. Most other teams, such as Gamma Force, are made up of 1 or 2 Class 2 and several Class 3 heroes (Weaponeer is Class 2, as is Titanos... the rest of Gamma Force is Class 3).

I think you meant to say "and several Class 3 heroes", right?

Yeah, class 3. I'll edit it.

You were right. The Shadow thing is looking better now.

Yeah over time I got a little better at the glowy part.

Abby! Walk faster!

I so want to throw a net on this thing. Or let it walk through a transformer.

More than meets the eye? Oh wait you meant the other one

Abby how long can you hold your breath. I have a feeling water may be your friend.

That's a good question. Since it has no possible bearing on this or future story elements, and therefore is not a spoiler, I will answer it.

I checked LL's Champions Sheet (yes, I wrote one up for her -- I did that to make sure her powers remain consistent in every scene), she has 9 points of Life Support (SFX: Right to Life). This gives her the ability to physically survive in a vacuum or high pressure, extreme heat/cold, and in toxic/radioactive environments. However, she must still find a way to breathe.

So she could survive as deep underwater as she wants to go and not be crushed, but she'd need a SCUBA tank or something to breathe.

So she could go as deep as the equipment lets her breath :D

Looking good there!

Night rendering is the biggest pain in the neck... I probably should have chosen a villain with different powers to attack LL.
