Mountain Man is very strong and tough but not very bright. I thought it would be fun to have him speak in '3rd person' kind of like 'Jimmy' from Seinfeld.

Having written the line I figured Abby would just *have* to comment about it.

Not sure why this posted early. I thought I set them all to post at 6 PM EDT.

EDIT: BTW... the two AEGIS agents in the background of panel 2 are the same agents who arrested Cape Hoarder last issue. Hard to tell due to the shadows. It's the same heli-tank they used too.

No shoes. Where would a guy that big buy shoes?

The original plan was for him to be dressed as a wrestler. In fact I bought a wrestler outfit. But frustratingly, that outfit had a very large, obvious, um... package... built into the groin area that could not be turned off. So I went with this one, which is actually a rugby uniform. I decided to keep the wrestler look as much as possible however, so that is why he is bare-foot.

Plus his feet are as tough and hard to hurt as the rest of him.

"codpiece", perhaps? Part of the showmanship for those guys... but annoying for most anything else, I would think. Especially in this case, when you're going to be magnifying it so ridiculously already...

I just wish it had an on/off morph and I could have turned it off. I think the suit looked a little better... but this one was functional enough.

Nice action. It should be very frustrating for a guy that big to realize that a 'little' woman is actually stronger than him.

One thing I have always enjoyed about LL is the contrast between how she looks like a skinny school-girl but is strong enough to pick up a cruise liner.

When the strength comes from somewhere other than the muscles...

She didn't need to use a lot of strength to get out of his grip. All she would have had to do was grab one of his fingernails and just lift it away from the nail bed. I had a bird who liked to do that....

YOOOWWWIEEE, that hurt. A lot more than being crushed! So always keep your hands free!

Ow that sounds painful.

In this case he had her arms pinned so she couldn't have attacked his hang nails.
